Let music lead you down the pathways of picturesque Renaissance gardens this spring! Lyracle’s spring concert “Perennial” will feature selections from 15th and 16th century music anthologies with floral titles. Like gardeners, the compilers of these anthologies carefully select and order things of beauty to create an aesthetic whole. We’ll explore how these anthologies illuminate two enduring human experiences: finding beauty in that which is fleeting and trying to preserve it.
